Whole road

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3848429.

At various points along the whole road the surface is appalling- rough, rutted, pot holes etc and the exit of Aldi onto the road the drainage covers gave moved leaving a big gap!

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention, regarding this section of Watling Street. We are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks. Regarding the drainage covers at the entrance to Aldi, these are not the adopted land of West Northamptonshire Highways and are the responsibility of the adjacent private land owners to maintain.
