Overgrown hedge blocking the pavement

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 13:35, Wednesday 28 September 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3854698.

The front garden at 13 Pennine Way NN56AT has overgrown so much that people are having to step into the road just to walk past. Can anything be done about this as it's very dangerous. Most of the residents in are elderly also younger residents with pushchairs. Speaking to the owner is difficult, because it's rented. Many Thanks Resident

  • Nothing has been done. if next doors hedges grow into my garden, i am entitled to cut them off, the footpath is the councils property. if they are denying this, perhaps i can drop the kerb outside my house without their permission
