East bound carriway on the new Wellingborough dual carriway of the A509.

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 20:52, Wednesday 28 September 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3855752.

East bound carriway on the new Wellingborough dual carriway on A509 (Niort Way) is subsiding. The West bound is ok, it is just the East bound. The depression is located halfway between the two sets of traffiv lights. It started off as a small depression, but is getting worst. I can see loaded lorries and vans bounce quite a severely, when travalling over it at 40mph. Some heavy vehicles now have to slow when approching it. I suspect the road's foundations are collapsing.
