Verge near top of Rotten Row being eroded by parked cars
Reported via desktop in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category by Terry Savage at 18:59, Sun 16 October 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 20 hours, 45 minutes later. ref: 3893699.
This verge is gradually being eroded by parked cars, high above which is an ancient wall that I believe has very shallow foundations. There is a danger that if this continues the wall may fall and damage some cars or maybe worse. Can a small wall or kerbs be put in to stop a chance of this happening?

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry to Northamptonshire Highways with regard to your request for the construction of a small retaining wall to prevent further erosion of the bank adjacent to the wall in Rotten Row, Wollaston.
The site has been visited but unfortunately, with very limited finances available, this would not be a priority for the funding of any works along this section.
It was also noted that comparing the view on Goole Streetview from back in 2009, compared to the present day, that no further erosion appears to have occurred to the verge in the intervening years.
