Large Pothole full of water, stones spreading out

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3971592.

Large pothole has appeared over the last 10 days on Willowbrook Road with the junction of Chestnut Avenue. The rain is masking the pothole - driving towards the boating lake the hole is where your drivers side wheels are, meaning swerving, hitting the pot hole or mounting the kerb to avoid it. There are stones spreading from the pothole across the road. Today's rain (17th Nov 22) is making this situation worse.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Willow Brook Road, we are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.
