As you can see from the attached photos. We are experiencing a serious amount of flooding on the corner of Beech Avenue/Wellingborough Road. As the local authority you have barely cleared the leaves in this area this season. As residents we have done our best to sweep the leaves and move them from the drains to allow the rain to fall but we only have domestic size bins. The drains are blocked deep down with the leaves and general rubbish over the years and are probably too old now to cope with the amount of rain we experience. As you can see from one photo, thi lady had literally just got off the bus at the bus stop and waded across the path to then hold onto the fence to walk try and get passed the flooded area (she was going to pick her child up from Cedar Road School). The problem with the leaves is always going to be an issue this time of year and the state of the drains needs to be addressed. This is a very busy junction for vehicles, bus passengers and pedestrians alike.
