Paths becoming unsafe.
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 09:12, Tue 29 November 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4001753.
Where the cars are constantly driving over the paths to park on the grass (which is now thick mud). Or to get to their front gardens even though drop kerb permission was refused/no dropped curb. The paths are becoming extremely slippy due to the mud being transferred onto them. This is before we even get a frost. When we do it will be lethal. You cant avoid the muddy paths with out having to go through the mud. It is even more dangerous at night as there is no lightning in this corner so at night you can not see the paths are covered in slippery mud. It is not just one area but numerous points on the path/s in the bend. The tarmac is also starting to fail again where the cars are constantly driving over it. It is craking and dipping again. It was not that long ago that it was repaired. The above has been an ongoing issue every winter but as the grass never gets a chance to recover it is getting worse each year. Now it is causing a serious hazard.
