I noticed it maybe a week ago, impossible to avoid if encountering incoming traffic, very dangerous for cyclists, shocked me as I drove over it, enough to momentarily lose control of steering.

    On Friday 30th Dec traveling circa 25mph in a heavy rain downpour that hid this pothole, i.e. filled with water, I hit this pothole and it was so severe my car has put the engine warning light on and shows on dash "Active Hood Malfunction" (obviously the car thinks it was in an accident) I have had to book the car in for a diagnostic check and reset of the engine warning light! they are also checking the tyre and wheel. Measured the Pothole (04/01/23) and now its about 4ft x 3ft and 4 to 5 inches deep!!!!
