There isnt a single sign anywhere on the roundabout to direct you to Rudshden Lakes. (Or Wellingborough even!)
Reported via desktop in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category by Stephen Manton Briggs at 12:06, Thu 8 December 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4022844.
To avoid accidents, lost time and frustration surely Rushden Lakes SHOPPING OUTLET should be signed. Do you want to keep it a secret? Is it too much competition with Rushden town centre? I'm told that Wellingborough is not included either!

Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - Thank you for your enquiry, and apologies for the delay in replying. Chowns Mill roundabout itself is part of the A45 and so managed by National Highways rather than by North Northamptonshire Council. Signing at major junctions is generally restricted to the next key town, and major routes such as M1. The number of routes crossing restricts what other destinations can be included, although Wellingborough is shown on the map-style signs on all approaches to the roundabout, at the relevant exit from the roundabout, and on some gantry signs. National guidance is that commercial destinations are not normally signposted on the major road network. I hope this information is of some assistance, but if you wish to enquire further, please contact National Highways by emailing info@nationalhighways.co.uk.
