Deep pothole on single country lane

Dangerous new pothole on a high traffic single lane road. The road from wood meadow garden centre (on A43) to hardwick village is being used by many people as a shortcut to Wellingborough and surrounding villages. Also regularly used for farming and is in an appalling state causing damage to vehicles. We would appreciate a road inspection.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Hannington Road, we are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.
