  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Rothwell Road, we are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.

  • I sat in Costa this morning watching vehicles swerving all over the place to avoid this hazard - please prioritize.

  • This requires higher that 6 months priority. It has been reported as far back as November. As person above says, vehicles are swerving across the carriageway to avoid and driving through the holes is becoming increasingly dangerous too.

  • Agreed with the above, driving Rothwell-bound is brutal in the dark as the street lights aren't directly on top and I feel could push one's suspension over the edge if not sorted soon. It's nasty to go over and I have to either drive round to the middle of the road or close to the kerb to avoid it.
