Massive hole at the side of the road

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4122527.

Impossible to miss this hole if a car is coming the other way. Very wide, deep hole. If a car hits this it will be destroyed and a bike would be a serious accident....need urgent...today..repair

  • This hole is now massive, there is a whole regiment of Ukranian soldiers taking cover in there. Its literally a bomb hole

  • This pothole has to be the biggest in Northamptonshire. Its a least a quarter of the width of the road. Several damaged cars seen and now at least the police have put two cones in it to advise motorist. Motorcyclists will be killed if this is nor repaired urgently#.

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Scheduled Maintenance) - The carriageway defect doesn’t meet the criteria for an urgent repair, however based on the new information we have received, we have carried out an assessment and can confirm that a Community Steward has made a semi-permanent repair. A permanent repair will be carried out in the next 28 days.
