General condition, potholes, long worn patches

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4166687.

The WHOLE road, from the single section right through and past the industrial estate suffers from potholes, long worn out patches and tarmac crumbling and falling away (falling away in single carriageway section). Very Very dangerous on a bike, which you should be encouraging.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Furnace Lane, we are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.
