Massive pothole left verge whilst leaving Cranford up the hill

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 11:17, Wednesday 25 January 2023

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4168886.

Been, down it twice, possible wheel damage, yet to ascertain. Extremely difficult to avoid at night whilst faced with oncoming traffic...especially when you don't know exactly where it is. The rest of this road is in very poor condition on the verge of each lane along it's length

  • Thank you for reporting a fault. Officers will now investigate the concerns and this may take up to 5 working days. If you believe that your concerns are urgent then please phone us.

    State changed to: Investigating

  • Investigation: Completed (Scheduled Maintenance) - Firstly, we are sorry to hear about your tyre. The carriageway defect doesn’t meet the criteria for an urgent repair, however based on the new information we have received, we have carried out an assessment and can confirm that a Community Steward has made a semi-permanent repair. A permanent repair was already scheduled via an inspectors report to be carried out within the next six months. We hope to attend sooner.
