In December, I was driving from kettering to thrapston to work in the morning around 8am where in the location below another car was driving the oposit drirection towards my car and i had to go a little to the side of the road to avoid getting hit where i drove into this pot hole. I herd a loud bang. I stopped the car with the 4 lights and came out and saw that it had at least burst two of the left hand side wheels. I called my breakdown insurance and once they assessed the car condition, he confirmed that both alloys had broken inside the wheel and busted both wheels. The pothole was 40cm wide,18cm depth &8 meter long pothole. The pothole is located coming out on the left hand side of huxloe lodge nn143at towards kettering Road. I have attached receipts of 2 alloy wheels and the tyre cost. I normally commute this way to work. I can't confirm how long the pothole has been there however I can confirm that that road is very damaged with several potholes.
