Pothole in road

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4228492.

Large pothole 40 inch by 30 inch 3-4 inch deep. This has appeared in the last 7 days. Located towards the centre of the road outside the property of No.63.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Brambleside, we are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.

  • My daughter has hit this pothole this morning and has blown her tyre she has to now buy a new tyre hopefully hasn't damaged her alloy wheel I can see this was reported in February but still nothing has been done . So now you have failed to rectify the problem for more than 2 months so I will be asking for compensation for the new tyre .

    Daughter had today buy a new tyre at the expense of £80 due to hitting this at 5.45 31/3/23 if this pothole was reported in February at least it should of been highlighted by highway agency .so is visible in the dark especially when wet and full of water . So asking for compensation for the sum of £80 she has a receipt to prove the purchase.
