Pothole adjacent to 2 driveways

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 11:42, Thursday 16 February 2023

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4237595.

Heading towards Norton Road on Sulgrave Drive opposite the driveway of number 28 Sulgrave and by the two driveways here is a pothole getting longer and deeper day by day, unfortunately there is often no way of avoiding this as cars park legally on the road meaning traffic for both directions are driving over the same area repeatedly.

  • These potholes are getting worse day by day. Unfortunately with each rainfall stones spread. With each car driving over this section of road (unavoidable because of cars parked opposite the potholes) also this is outside a driveway which is in use, again making the potholes worse. Cyclists or scooter users are definitely at risk. Please upgrade the urgency on this. Most appreciated, thanks.

  • These potholes are DANGEROUS. Six months to repair is ridiculous. These potholes are deep and getting wider on a daily basis. Every car that passes over them (no way to avoid because of parked cars) is making the situation worse. Every rainfall makes the situation worse. The damage to a vehicle, or a person will be awful.
