Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4262259.

More deep and sharp pot holes appearing and getting bigger and deeper by the day . Very sharp ones in direction on stanwick to Raunds. Directly on the corner . The condition of this part of the road is very very poor its a blind corner and a bus root .

  • I am writing to bring to your attention another road within our community that is in dire need of repair. The current state of this road presents a severe safety hazard, as braking around corners has become increasingly difficult, with vehicles struggling to maintain grip on the uneven surface. Over the years, the condition of this road has only worsened.

    As a cyclist, I have personally experienced the dangers this road poses. On one occasion, my bicycle's front wheel lost traction while turning, causing me to fall. The entire road surface requires proper resurfacing to ensure the safety of all users, including drivers and cyclists.

    This problem has persisted for many years, and the conditions continue to deteriorate. I implore you to address this pressing issue with the utmost urgency, as it poses a significant risk to the well-being of our community members.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am hopeful that swift and effective action will be taken to rectify this situation.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Raunds Road, we can confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the investigatory level for repairs, have work scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.
