Massive deep pothole - will break wheels

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 08:31, Friday 3 March 2023

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4277552.

As you our on the road coming into Rothwell (from Rushton direction) there is a very deep pothole to the left hand side of the road just before the 40 mile signs. Cars are having to swerve to avoid it. Would likely break a wheel. Been there around 2 months but assumed someone else had reported.

  • It's been another week and still no sign of a repair. Originally I was reporting pot hole around 25m from the 40mph sign but there is now an even worse one right by the 40mph sign and more as you come further into Rothwell
