Sorry but the recently repaired drain next to the bus stop on Main Road, Wilby NN8 2UB (geologist.incomes.painted) is breaking up again. The steel grid covering the drain is subjected to a pounding with loud noises. Grateful if you could inspect. Thanks.

  • Whilst grateful for the repair it doesn't look permanent. There are signs of cracking surrounding the drain and maybe even some subsidence. I feel it may take another, more substantial repair to complete this problem. Thanks

  • Whilst the repair is appreciated, quite a speedy job, a short while after completion, cracks started to reappear. I get the impression a more invasive repair is necessary. I will be reporting the situation here, should it deteriorate further.

    Part of the structure of the drain is now collapsing into the drain below, as can clearly be seen from the attached photograph. I believe it is only a matter of time before it falls in on itself to deepen and enlarge the hole in the road, right next to the bus stop. Thanks.
