Multiple potholes which are rapidly expanding outwards and downwards.
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 21:50, Friday 17 March 2023
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4326898.
Multiple potholes on the approach to the roundabout. They have been getting worse for some considerable time. I am aware of them, so slow down to walking pace but a cyclist/motorcyclist/car hitting them at speed could lose control or be damaged. No photos as it's much too dangerous to be attempting such a thing on this very busy road.

I hit this pothole last Wednesday, tried to avoid it but due to the amount of traffic on road it was impossible without causing an accident. After going over the roundabout and continuing my journey my tyre blew on the dual carriageway which resulted in my having to call the police because I was on the highway and the rac. Both the rac and garage’s opinion was that hitting the pothole had sheared the spring which had resulted in my tyre blowing. How do I claim as fixing my car including tyre cost me £303.54
