Sunken drain cover and possible drain

Reported via mobile in the Loose / Raised/Sunken category anonymously at 18:29, Monday 27 March 2023

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4365653.

Noticed this 27 march 2022 looks like it may of been like it for a week or 2. It is at the bottom of the drive of 83 little meadow. One side the bricks on the road have risen and the opposite side it has sunk a few inches. Looks like possible subsidence.

  • The drain has worsened since last reported to the point that damage may be caused to our vehicles, as the drain is at the end of our drive and we physically cannot avoid driving over it to gain access on and off our drive. More recently the tyre is almost getting trapped in the dip and we're concerned it may cause long term damage to our vehicles. With the time that's expired since we last reported this we will now hold you responsible for any damage caused to our vehicles if it occurs due to this problem

  • Still waiting for repairs on the drain notified to you in March. We've had to board over it to protect our vehicles driving on and off the drive.
