Verges eroded to create dangerous cliff-edge
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:47, Tuesday 28 March 2023
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4370152.
This is just an example of a problem, and far from the worst, all the way up Park Hill, . Verges on both sides have been deeply eroded to cause a danger to vehicles trying to squeeze past each other on the single track road. The road surface is also scarred and potholed under the railway bridge, and needs a large area of resurfacing, but that has been a long-standing problem, possibly due to inadequate drainage.

This whole road up/down from Park Hill Farm needs inspection. Under railway bridge since electrification works has been started this is now flooded across full width of road. THIS IS TOTALLY HAZARDOUS …don’t believe ANY INSPECTION has been made by anyone at all. TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED
