Large potholes

There is a number of potholes along this part of the road for the last 3 maybe 4 months that are getting bigger by the day causing cars to go on to the wrong side of the road to avoid them also loose tare is on the road from the potholes this is a skid hazard.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Viking Way, we can confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the investigatory level for repairs, have work scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.

    This still has not been sorted they are only getting bigger . Somebody has been out and remarked the potholes in white first time was with yellow marker paint you have to go on to the other side of the road to avoid them or risk damage to your car ie tyres or tracking what do we pay road tax for because it's not being spent on the roads.

  • I give up reporting this but then again thats what they want you to do not report it. Signs were put up this road will be closed on the 5/7/23 one small resurface machine was put at the side of the road it is now the 8/7/23 the machine and the sign has gone the road is still untouched
