Drain grid support broken and adjacent road degraded significantlly

The drain cover surround has broken away and the surrounding road asphalt has disintegrated significantly. The cover is probably not supported adequately and water now by-passes the drain cover as the gap created is now so large. There is a safety issue as there is no walkway adjacent so pedestrians have to walk on this part of the road. The degradation has progressed over a period of two years but in recent months it has accelerated as to be expected. The drain is immediately outside 23 Broadlands, Raunds, NN9 6QL

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Broadlands, we can confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the investigatory level for repairs, have work scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within amonths’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
