100cm x 50cm x 9cm pothole, near Pytchley Lodge Crossroads

Pothole near Pytchley Lodge Crossroads. It is located towards the middle of the left hand side of the road, if driving away from Pychley towards the A43. Pothole size is roughly 100cm x 50cm x 9cm. I am unable to comment how long it has been there for but looking at its current size and the general condition of the road surrounding it I would imagine that it's been there for quite some time.

  • I have just hit this pot hole and it punctured my tyre. Impossible to avoid with oncoming traffic. Is there a way to claim the cost of damage from the council?

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - The carriageway defect doesn’t meet the criteria for an urgent repair, however based on the new information we have received, we have carried out an assessment and can confirm that a Community Steward has made a semi-permanent repair. A permanent repair will be carried out in the next 28 days and you will receive an update once repairs have been completed.

  • There has been no work done - temporary or otherwise. do you people really have a clue what your contractors are doing or are they incompetent or inveterate liars? shocking! take a slow drive along th road and look carefully!
