Been waiting for this tree to be cut back for a year

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4435690.

Reported May last year, told it woud be done in the autumn due to nests. This work was not undertaken, now tree going into bud and resident really needs this cutting back before birds start nesting again, as it effects tv signal, light in the property, causes huge amounts of leaves to fall onto property of elderly resident.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Firstly, we would like to apologise for the fact that you have had to re-report these issues. Regrettably, since the start of the new Highways contract last September, some works did not successfully migrate over and then were superseded by more severe issues that impacted safety. We can confirm that a works order has been raised for maintenance to be carried out to this vegetation as soon as this season. You will be notified when this takes place.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Ongoing - We would like to provide an update on this matter. Unfortunately, as there are nesting birds in the trees, we are unable to carry out maintenance at this time. As soon is nesting season is over, in the Autumn, we will attend.

  • This is a joke we wsit a whole year to get cut we tell u to cut well before tree is in bud then u come out months later and say birds nesting again this is not acceptable at all so please get tree cut as now my 81 year old mum as no tv or I will cut and leave in middle of road ur choice and I will go to Evening telegraph if not done by 1st of june
