Investigating
Blocked drains causing flooding to footpath
Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 10:51, Sat 22 April 2023
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4472985.
Re: 4440328 As I said in the above report, This is going round in circles You say it is BP's problem and BP say it is WNC's problem and nothing gets done. If it is their issue YOU need to tell them to sort it out. When this is flooded there is a health & safety risk to Pedestrians and Mobility Scooters that I have seen having to negotiate the water by going onto the road

Investigation: Completed (Reported to another department within WNC) - Thank you for your patience in this matter. We can confirm we have cleansed all our assets at this junction, on July 20th 2023. All were running and clear upon leaving the site. We have referred the matter to our regulations team in West Northants Council to take this matter further with the landowners as we believe the flooding is being caused by a privately maintained gully.
