Road markings on this roundabout are very faded and worn, making the use hazardous, especially to strangers to the area.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Westcott Way, we can confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the investigatory level for repairs, have work scheduled to resolve them. This report was acknowledge on 4/05/23, when it was stated that it would be dealt with in a months time. it is still outstanding and the lane lines at the roundabout are more faded, and in urgent need of attention. Road safety is being affected.

The defects have still not been rectified, in that the lane lines have not been repainted. In fact some of them are not visible. This is a very busy roundabout and urgent attention is needed. The condition is not safe.

Reference street doctor report 4490412 this report originated in april 2023 and referred to faded lane markings at the roundabout at the junction of cottingham road, wescott way and elizabeth street. this is a very busy junction. this has still not been resolved as can been seen from the report. on 10th august 2023, a report was posted that it had been investigated and would be dealt with within 28 days. it is now the 3rd september and no work appears to have commenced. when will the work be completed ? it is urgent.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Scheduled - We do apologise for this administrative error, this was intended to be a 26-week time frame in order to factor in the necessary road closure needed to carry out this work. We aim to have it completed by the end of October 2023.
