Second attempt for you to fix this issue, photos sent to Phillip Hallibone MP for North Northants, verge damage on both sides almost entire length of this stretch of the road to the bottom of the valley

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding the verge in this section of Hunsbury Hill Road, we can confirm that the defects that meet the investigatory level for repairs, have work scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.

  • Not fixed, gettting worse, gorges out of tarmac where cars have scraped on road getting deeper and worse

  • Not touched, getting worse, gouges in tarmac where wheel arms and car bottoms scraping along tarmac also tyres will be shredded, problem is getting worse all the way to the bottom of the valley but worst at the top

  • Sections of this road are cracking and breaking away because it has no base or subbase to hold it in place, will require complete rebuild and full expense because no maintenance measures are being taken Damage to vehicles occur regular as evidenced by the deep score marks in the tarmac due to the depth at the edges of the road, verges rapidly deteriorating. This is public money being wasted while damaging the publics vehicle They have been told numerous times now and ignoring the issue

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - A works order is in place to repair the verges, however there are no plans to widen or haunch the road at this location at this time.

  • Nothing done here verges still collapsed cars undersides leaving scrapes in surface course Road breaking up in long stretches in several places due to lack of sub base to edges Getting worse all the time and more expensive to repair damage to road while road users also suffer damage to vehicles

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - After more inspection, we have raised a works order for this to be completed within the next 6 months, however we do hope to attend sooner. Please be assured that you will be notified once this has been completed.

  • Getting worse, looks like a thin layer of scalpings may of been spread and not compacted over a small length, no idea why its completely ineffective and a waste of time
