Road markings have disappeared

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4540217.

Virtually al the white line markings between the northbound exit slip from the A605 at Barnwell to the 30 mph signs beside Oundle Marina have vanished. This seems to be an OK for drivers to drive through the bends by Oundle Mill on the wrong side of the road and into oncoming traffic.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding this section of Barnwell Road, we can confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the investigatory level for repairs, have work scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.
