No route marker or finger pointer, and gates are padlocked and blocked

Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 19:11, Sun 14 May 2023

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4553413.

There is no route marker and the map doesn't make it clear exactly where the path entrance is. There are gates on Mill Hill either side of the hedge that runs to Ash Plantation but they are all locked. Behind one are piles of rubble blocking the way. In front of the other is a concrete block and another huge container. VERY intimidating for walkers, especially when it is unclear which route we are allowed to use.
