Large potholes on bridge

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4571610.

Various large potholes been here since early 2023. Some of them are causing vehicles to swerve them with the potential of hitting an oncoming vehicle or swerving into the kerbside, both situations potentially causing damage to vehicle.

  • Investigation: Ongoing - Regarding the condition of this section of the road, we can confirm that the defects that meet investigation levels have already been marked for repair on an inspectors report and will be undertaken within a months’ time.

  • This section of road is deplorable and the whole section requires resurfacing between the traffic lights It is not only a hazard to motorists but cyclists and pedestrians crossing the road. Other roads in the area in better condition are being repaired and resurfaced. I suspect this is because of the impact on the nearby quarry and is financially motivated not to close it!!!
