Failed trench crossing

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4584971.

A road crossing trench had been done here and the tarmac had failed Causes a severe bang when drove over Hard to avoid due to being at a junction and mostly watching out traffic and pedestrians

  • Still not repaired, spray marks on approx 50% of the trench crossing, which if they do it in patches instead of completely replacing is setting it up to fail again in a year or two Its a cheap quick fix instead of doing the job properly

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - This email is regarding the pot hole reported on High Street Harrington, we can confirm that the carriageway defects meet the investigatory level for repairs and work has been scheduled to resolve them. As it stands, our current date to complete a full repair is 28/12/23.
