Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4626076.
I am a wheelchair user and very frequently cars are parked outside Claremont Nursing home both on double yellow lines but also on dropped curb. This forces me to backtrack to a previous dropped curb and go on the road, this is especially dangerous as it also involves a roundabout with Blenheim Way. Also I live on Stratfield way, there are dropped curbs on the corners of the road, but no dropped curb on the opposite side of Holdenby. There is no dropped curb at the roundabout with Blenheim Way which forces me to take the route via Claremont Nursing home. This needs to be dealt with as I do not feel safe having to use the road

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for contacting the Fix My Street Service with regard to access issues around the Claremont Nursing Home area of Kettering.
The issue of parking on the double yellow lines by the roundabout has been reported to our Warden Team.
The Council receives many requests for the installation of pedestrian drop kerbs, we have a small annual budget for the introduction of new drop kerbs, however the number of requests we receive each year significantly exceeds the available budget. We will ensure that Blenheim Way and the location on Holdenby, opposite the Stratfield Way junction, are added to the list of sites where we have had requests for the installation of drop kerbs for implementation as and when budgets allow.
