Vegetation on traffic island is reducing visibility

The traffic island is overgrown and is reducing the visibility of anyone crossing the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding the vegetation, we can confirm that a works order has been raised to cut back this vegetation. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.

  • The vegetation is now severely reducing visibility on the road and for pedestrians. Mawsley Parish Council request that the largest bush is removed and that all lower growth on the trees is removed.
