Blocked Drains

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4803953.

Location is the side of road where the church is located, outside the old rectory, drains have not been cleared following works that were completed today by the highways team.

    Drains on the A427 Brampton Ash to the side of the Old Rectory. Missed drains.

    There are 9 drains on the Rectory side on the A427, some are damaged but with the work you did on the other side of the road you do not class them as dangerous, Many Thanks Nick Bevan.

    The 9 drains which have not been cleaned were mentioned to the work men on the day they cleaned one side of the road, the road is very dangerous when water is laying on the surface. I feel that this work is a priority job and the thought that this work might not be done by 25 December is unacceptable. Regards Nick Bevan

  • Hi , nobody replied to my message dated mid July . The drains still have not been cleaned, when we have rain there is excessive amounts of water crossing over the road which would cause aquaplaning by speeding cars , and we wouldn’t want any more deaths on this road.
