Footpath surface overgrown with vegetation

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4915954.

The footpath surface is badly in need of replacement and is overgrown with vegetation (previously reported as 2935775 in Sept 2021 with no lasting remedy). The problem exists to varying extents on the footpath on the east side of Johns Road from the junction with Waggonners Way to the boundary with the recent Persimmons development.

  • Nettles also growing out of the footpath by 1 Waggoners way. Previously the occupant was sent a letter to remove the overgrown plants which has been done but the footpath growth is still an issue that hasn't been resolved.

  • Part of the footpath between homestead and the new estate has been resurfaced this morning, but the workers have disappeared and the rest of the affected footpath is untouched. Are they coming back?
