Huge Pothole - A43 Kettering - 400mm wide, 600mm long and 40mm deep

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 4982138.

Encountered this pothole in the dark on Sunday evening, this stretch of the A43 is unlit, so hard to spot until you drive into it.

Caused extreme distress to myself and passengers (including grand children)

Caused damage to my car of broken spring on the front offside corner, such was the impact in the pot hot.

I can see this has been previously reported by other road users since 28th June, again on 9th August, yet still not been addressed or patched, yet the approach to the A43 roundabout has been completely resurfaced.

I shall be submitting a claim for damages due to this negligent act.
