Quality of new road surface

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 5022218.

The road (A425 in a westerly direction) outside the new development has been resurfaced and the quality is below that which existed previously. The road has been laid due to the new development work and it should be as good or better than before. The likelihood of this road needing repair is higher than if the road was laid correctly. The prime contractor should be made to correct this poor quality of work before they leave the site as it will fall to South Northats to make good the damage in the not too distant future.
