A fence has been put around the field.blocking the access to the footpath.

  • This footpath is still blocked by an electric fence today on 20th November. I attempted to walk around the edge of the field with my dog but was unable to do so, my gog got an electric shock. If this fence is not removed by the farmer I will pull it all up myself.

  • Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - The electric fencing has been made safe for pedestrian access and is only temporary while sheep eat turnip crops. The farmer is within their legal rights to place this fence here and can press criminal charges if damage to the fence or sheep is carried out.
