The whole length of Knock Lane is breaking up under the weight of increased and diverted traffic.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 5228167.

The holes in the road are very dangerious no warning signs and has just cost me 2 new tyres. Please do some immediate adequate repairs before there is a serious accident.

  • Investigation: Completed (Scheduled Maintenance) - We can confirm that we have been closely monitoring the condition of Knock Lane and other roads in the area. Due to Knock Lanes deteriorating condition, we have scheduled carriageway re-surfacing from the 4th to the 12th of December 2023 (weekday working only), and this will be subject to weather conditions. In the meantime, we have scheduled further temporary repairs to take place in the coming days, similar to those carried out over the previous weekends.
