Dozens of potholes - too numerous to report individually - along the public highway running from Wootton to Salcey Fores
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:42, Sunday 19 November 2023
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 5229598.
There are dozens of dangerously deep potholes and deep ragged edges of the road where it has broken away, along the whole stretch of the public highway - on BOTH sides of the road, from the roundabout near Griffiths Sheep Farm, Quinton Road, Wootton along the whole length of road, to the Cross Roads in Salcey Forest, Hartwell. There are so many deep and dangerous potholes and ruts and broken road edging that they are too numerous to record individually via Street Doctor and you need to get someone from Northampton Highways to do a proper survey on both sides of the road to accurately record all these potholes and other dangerous areas of road. This is an extremely busy, constantly used stretch of road (as it is a well know "rat run" from Milton Keynes/Newport Pagnell to Northampton). It is also a National Cycle Route and many of these damaged areas of road and deep potholes could cause a serious accident if a cyclist hit it.
